For people, whose income is very low and for those who face difficulty in paying for their dental expenses, there are many dental care clinics run by the government and other public organizations. These dental clinics provide free dental check ups for the poor. Many medical universities have also started offering free dental camps or at a very low cost. Medical students of dentistry who are in their final years participate in such camps and help the poor by resolving their dental issues.
Dental discount plans are also announced for the people who cannot avail regular dental check ups due to their poor economic conditions. Such discount plans are available with most of the dentists. All the person has to do is to get a membership card which is to be showed every time he or she visits the dentist.
Also, a proper dentist who avails dental care at nominal rates will be present in most of the localities. So one can always get advices from his friends and relatives about the dental care programs. Business directories can also provide information about doctors who give free dental checkups or ones at a reasonable cost.
Government organizations and several NGOs offer numerous plans to provide dental care for the poor. They help in curing dental problems at a cost that is bearable by the poor. Such charity organizations involve recognized dentists who take part in checkup events.
